The Ermita De La Virgen De Los Remedios or the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Remedies is located in a small mountain village named Castroserna De Abajo. It is nestled on the San Juan River Valley and has an interesting legend going behind it, which speaks about the shepherd boy and the image of the Virgin. The Labrada Cave was used as a Rock Chapel before succumbing to a fire. The Ermita De La Virgen De Los Remedios came into being after the chapel was rebuilt. The main events celebrated by the chapel are pilgrimage for the Virgin and feast of San Frutos. A number of excavated caves can be seen around where the vultures flock.
