  • Fantastic place loaded with history. Great restauration works. Could be better maintained (abandoned explanatory boards, broken glass and seringes). Well worth an hour or two inside.

  • A superb example of a Roman theatre. We enjoyed our visit tremendously.

  • Absolutely astonishing -- my favorite Roman theater in Sicily. Spent hours there and it exceeded all expectations. The dark, lower-level corridors with long heaps of architectural detritus are something else. Went on a weekday and -- aside from a couple school groups -- there were almost no other tourists. Jackpot!

  • An interesting place. 6 euro entrance about right. WCs need attention. Some of the exhibition areas devoid of exhibits when we visited.

  • If you've been to one of these outdoor ancient theatres before, it's not that much of a difference. What's interesting is that residential buildings have come up around this theatre so from the outside, you wouldn't even know it's there. You could walk beneath the stone steps/sitting areas.
