The weather of Cebu is predominantly divided into two seasons; the dry and the wet season. There is no particular best time to visit Cebu. It totally depends on what you wish to do while there; for beach-bummers, the best time to revel in the islands’ beautiful beaches would be from March to May. For those who want to see Cebu in its grandest avatar, the best time to visit would be in the third week of January when Sinulog celebrations take place.
Rainfall: The rainy season begins in July bringing torrential downpour that can at times inhibit movement but typhoon activity is relatively minor compared with other parts of the Philippines. Cebu receives a total of about 1200 millimeters of rainfall each year. So the moths of June to October are best avoided to travel to the city.
Summer: The highest temperatures in Cebu are in the range of 30 to 33 degree Celsius in summers. Relative humidity is high during these months giving travellers a perfect reason to enjoy the surrounding turquoise waters.
