Kawasan Falls - Review
Just 130 kilometers southwest of Cebu City and about three hours bus ride, the Kawasan Falls is located inside the mountains of Barangay Matutinao, Badian. Silver cascades of waters drop down into gorgeous freshwater pools that beckon visitors to swim and explore the surroundings further. There are two main waterfalls and they are known for their turquoise blue water basins. If you can trek a bit to the second tier of the falls, you will find yourself away from the crowds of tourists and in true company of nature. You can even rent bamboo rafts that take you right under the waterfall.

Kawasan Falls, Cebu City Reviews
A good easy walk to the falls. After seeing other waterfalls, I think that this one is very pretty and very well managed by the park. Pretty safe to have a swim there. Family atmosphere and good rest on a hot day. Maybe a bit to many of us on the place?? If you find a man selling honey, buy it! Healthy and yummy
There's a roughly 10 minute walk to get to the first level but it's worth it. The lush greenery and the sounds of the waterfall are beyond picture perfect. The first level is the swimming/dining/tourist area. For the true beauty you must walk to the 2nd level SEVERAL steps up. The only downside is to preserve the natural beauty there aren't any rails to hold on to. Be sure to have good footwear, keep your balance, and watch your step.
It’s a fun place, even if it is over crowded most of the time. You can go solo. Just pay the entrance fee and walk in like you own the place. The swing, the slide, the jump, all claim to cost pesos but no one is really there to collect, so just slide into the line and do it! Good GoPro action. Photos as of September 2018.
The long travel (ride and walk) was worth it after seeing the stunning Kawasan Falls. The water was so cold, I was even shivering for the first few hours while in the water and yes life jacket is a life saver, You should rent life jackets for you to fully enjoy the ranging water falling down the mountain, it was a great experience and being with friends made it more memorable.
I’m not a fan of waterfall but I must admit this one is really good. Great water. Easy walk. Well organized. Do not stop just at the first stop but go upper/deeper. Canyoneering is recommended.
