Just 130 kilometers southwest of Cebu City and about three hours bus ride, the Kawasan Falls is located inside the mountains of Barangay Matutinao, Badian. Silver cascades of waters drop down into gorgeous freshwater pools that beckon visitors to swim and explore the surroundings further. There are two main waterfalls and they are known for their turquoise blue water basins. If you can trek a bit to the second tier of the falls, you will find yourself away from the crowds of tourists and in true company of nature. You can even rent bamboo rafts that take you right under the waterfall.

  • Be careful of scamsters trying to coerce visitors into hiring a guide.

  • The best way to reach the falls is to hire a cab or hop on a bus from Cebu.

  • Café Europa Restaurant
  • Lantaw Restaurant

  • So a wonderful and amazing experience to this beautiful landscape. I had a tour guide who show me all the the nice spots. When you go in the week are not so much tourists than Sundays.

  • The long travel (ride and walk) was worth it after seeing the stunning Kawasan Falls. The water was so cold, I was even shivering for the first few hours while in the water and yes life jacket is a life saver, You should rent life jackets for you to fully enjoy the ranging water falling down the mountain, it was a great experience and being with friends made it more memorable.

  • A good easy walk to the falls. After seeing other waterfalls, I think that this one is very pretty and very well managed by the park. Pretty safe to have a swim there. Family atmosphere and good rest on a hot day. Maybe a bit to many of us on the place?? If you find a man selling honey, buy it! Healthy and yummy

  • Beautiful waterfalls and highly recommend. Beautiful motorcycle ride along the coast to get there. Go early to do canyoneering. Also, the map does not take to the right entrance. Just keep going along the coast until you see the big sign and entrance. It is a long walk to the falls but well worth it.

  • I loved the place. The experience was great. Entrance fee for just 45 pesos. In order for you to swim nearby the falls you need to rent a lifevest for just 50 pesos only. I went here with my boyfriend so we rented a space locker for 150 peso so we can enjoy and swim without looking at our stuffs. Great place to unwind and relax
