Wonderful. The short route takes you up hill through tunnels and over viaducts, not to hard and then a nice roll back down to the station. The longer route is just a long roll down hill. We do the Grand Tour which the short route followed by a train trip up and down the long section. The views are amazing a big 7 year old could pedal the car.
Was great fun with the family, would definitely recommend! The views from the rail are great and the history of it is pretty cool too. We did the uphill one, there were fewer people and you got to coast all the way back which was speedy!
A brilliant experience, combining an ingenious idea with wonderful scenery. The staff are engaging and helpful, there are good drinks and snacks. Best enjoyed if you keep a good distance behind the trolley in front which enables you to appreciate the relaxing experience. We weren't hassled by the car behind as some were . With the benefit of that experience I would advise doggedly going at your own comfortable speed and stopping whenever you like to enjoy the view.
Such an amazing experience, you start with biking (mostly downhill not much needed) through tunnels, terrain, beautiful scenery on the rails and then back by train. Did it with two adults and a 4 + 6 year old, easy to do and unlike anything I've tried before!
Lovely trip on the old tracks. Had the track to ourselves, which was great as we could take our time on the way out. Even got to do some caches along the route 😉
