The Central City Opera House is like stepping back in time. Every seat offers an excellent view of the production. We saw the Magic Flute and it was wonderful. The House has excellent acoustics and you fell as if the performance is just for you. Thinking about going, get the tickets and go you will be glad you did.
I have sat on both the floor level as well as the balcony for performances; both locations have offered a superb experience. The quality of our singers, the directors, the orchestra and the stage prep are all what makes these opera experiences truly great. The opera house itself just adds that extra magic that brings it all together!
Love this cute little opera house. There's free parking at the bottom of the hill as soon as you get into town. It's a short walk up the hill and to the left to the opera house. It's a small venue so all the seat are a good view.
This is a beautiful opera house and the summer season is amazing in terms of the productions put on. I love coming here every summer for the opera. Bring a jacket because it gets cold in the theater.
This is a great place to pick up information of our historic town. I work in the Showcase Gallery above the Visitor Center. That is a great place to get an introduction to our Art Gallery in the Washington Hall building just up the street.
