Pas de Chèvres is one of the most fantastic parts of the Haute route and the hike there would take you through beautiful meadows with spellbinding views of the glaciers that spill down the slopes of the magnificent Pigne d’Arolla. There are several routes that you can opt for and from the pass; there are ladders that descend to the moraine and from there, a rocky trail would lead you to Glacier de Cheilon. Catwalks and new ladders have been installed in 2014 which make the climb to the pass safer and easier.
