Shengli Park is the oldest park in China constructed in 1915 and is known for its exquisite flora collection. Covering an area 230,000sqmt it’s most famous for having about 500,000 flowering plants and about 5,000 varieties of water lilies. Other than the flora the park also is home to about 30 kinds of ornamental fishes and about 30 other species of animals.

The park also provides amusement section for adolescents as there are various recreational facilities like spacecraft, electric switch horses, large rotating shuttles, large air bags, Zigzag tunnels and other water based activities. The lush gardens, the picturesque promenades, the rows after rows of flowers that change colours as the seasons change that dazzle the eyes. Shengli Park embodies a beauty and tranquillity like none other.
