Tuek Daeng was constructed in the year 1893 and is a single-storey building that has been painted red and has red-tiled roof. The building consists of five rooms and all of them are linked with each other and consists of terraces lengthwise. Earlier, it was the living quarters for the soldiers who were based at Laem Sing. The historically significant building was later restored and turned into a public Library. However, Tuek Daeng today is no more a public library and it is open as an attraction with no entrance charges.
