Adventure Sightseeing Tours, Charleston Reviews - Write a Review

  • Bill our driver for this 90 min tour was courteous, knowledgeable and tried to go the extra mile, excuse the pun, on this driving tour. A native of Charleston, he had the right balance of charm and professionalism. While his southern accent took a few minutes to get used to, the tour covered all the key areas we later examined on a map that we wanted to be sure to cover. The office booking agent was also courteous, their explanatory email was clear and easy to understand, and they always answered the phone promptly. The meeting place at the visitors center is convenient. What would it take to get a 5? polish up the windows of the bus a bit more, and open the windows for a good airing. It was not a problem since each passenger can crack open their own windows, but the clean, attractive (14 passenger?) van did have an engine odor or something else that I can't put my finger on that smelled a bit stale. Overall great and would recommend to friends.

  • BEWARE! It was so hot, I was getting sick. We took a tour on a full bus. When we got on, they had the AC running but also about 6 small fans hooked to the ceiling. We got off as soon as we could, dripping sweat. We called their office and explained and the girl called the driver. He confirmed it was too hot and there was a screaming baby (which actually didn't bother me, because it was too hot to care). She said she would have the manager/owner call the next day. NO call. We booked through Viator (Trip Advisor) who we next contacted. They contacted this company who said the AC was working and since we got on, no refund. BOOK WITH SOMEONE ELSE! BEWARE!!

  • We did a 10 AM tour on Sunday. Tiffany, our driver and your guide, was excellent. She took questions and was very knowledgeable about the city's history, architecture, and vegetation. The tour takes about and hour and a half, and circles a large portion of historic downtown and the Harbor. You'll pass many historical homes, historical churches, colleges, and various other sites. Bus was air conditioned and everyone in our group had a great time. A must do. Ask for Tiffany!

  • Bill was fantastic. We saw and learned so much today. Very friendly, considerate and so knowledgeable about the Charleston area. I would def recommend this tour to others. Gotta get Bill though!

  • Bill was our driver. He picked us up right in front of our hotel and returned us to our hotel. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny and just about perfect. He loves questions and knows the answers. We had a great time and everyone on the bus appeared to be enjoying themselves. Sandy
