  • The place looks great with convenient parking and a nice quiet setting. However, the room was god awful hot and the bed was so uncomfortable that we thought they had only provided the box spring. Thankfully we were able to use some of the decorative pillows in the room to soften our sleeping boulder and bought a desk fan to stir the hot air soup that engulfed the entire closet we slept in. AC + at least a federal prison mattress would make this place 5 star for sure.

  • Came for a wedding in Charleston and stayed for one night at the main location in the Carissa room. The decor of the hostel was fun and vibrant, and included were two full kitchens and two full bathrooms on the main floor. There are washers and dryers located on the first floor as well, free to use. The hostile is an older house, but VERY clean and well maintained. My only complaint regards the temperature in our room. The hostile itself was a very comfortable temperature, however our room was a sauna both day time and at night. I would suggest bringing a small fan if staying in the Carissa room. Otherwise no complaints regarding the hostel itself or parking on premises!

  • Nice staff, quaint location, clean bedding and free breakfast. Honestly I couldn't ask for much else at $30 a night.

  • The bed was uncomfortable and the room very hot all night, so we went and bought a fan at Walmart, but the atmosphere is super chill. They were cool with my dog, and everyone was super nice. I have enjoyed my stay despite the heat.

  • Way worth it for the price. Surprisingly quiet and good location. Friendly staff.
