  • Grew up close by & now live close again. Good to have food available. Waitstaff has definitely gotten less enthused over the years. Actually went in around 10 p.m. a few weeks ago. Wasn't busy, people behind us got food before we even got a "hello". Never got waited on or acknowledged otherwise. We waited about 30 minutes, so hungry or else we would've left sooner, watched the waitress walk outside with another customer on crutches to carry food for him. Thought that was nice except she never came back inside. Cook & waiter seemed to be doing stuff the whole time but never spoke to us. There was 1 other table paying as we came in, otherwise it wasn't busy in the least. Stinks that that's "my" Waffle House. We've been going to the John's Island location & having a much better experience! Hopefully this 1 will turn around.

  • It took 10 minutes for someone to notice we were here. They finally cleared the table of dishes, never did wipe the table off. The cook took our order, brought our food and kept our drinks filled. The "manager" was supposed to be our waitress. Worthless. But the quality of the food was great as usual.

  • It was a good experience for anyone who get here late and needs something to eat. The waitress was fast and kind. I definitely plan on going back.

  • Love their Grilled Chicken Melt with W.H. special sauce. Crispy Bacon & Juicy Grilled Chicken Breasts. Can't go wrong there! And, now...double up the hash browns. Nice revamp & thorough cleaning up of the restaurant. Glad they're back open!

  • Once I was seated thongs went well. Server was polite and helpful. The food was good enough for me.
