Freedom Park Reviews & Ratings

  • Stressed? Want to get away from it all. This is your getaway. There is a ton of stuff to do here but it can be a great way to just walk around and be at peace. This is a wonderful park. Charlotte does not mess around when it comes to making amazing parks.

  • We attended the Festival in the Park at Freedom Park. The park is absolutely beautiful, the festival was great, and the shuttles they were running were very convenient. The park is very large and has great facilities and paths, plus wonderful trees, children's playground, and a lake. The Festival is wonderful and has a very diverse set of vendors. There was art, photography, pet costumes, candles, yard art, and tons of choices of food and drinks. For foodies, it was the best selection outside of a big fair. Freedom Park is a great place to walk, run, relax, or have a picnic.

  • Beautiful space lots of grass to picnic, stage for events like Jazz in the Park. Bring your children and loved ones! This includes your furry family member(s). Can bike, skate, board, fish and there are tables and grills for small gatherings. Come alone to stroll and get peace of mind or sit and look at the plentiful amounts of geese and find peace in that way.. had a nice time. Would definitely refer a friend and I'm definitely going back!

  • We had a great time visiting Freedom Park. There's lots to do there and the kids had a great time. The obstacle course was a high point for my kids and we also enjoyed the playground, a picnic at one of the picnic tables, and a walk around the "lake." Great to keep kids entertained for a few hours A place to relax and read a book or just take in some sun and people watch... . So much to see and do, one of my favorite placed to take my out of town guest.

  • Very nostalgic for me. I had a great time with the family. Crazy activities for all ages and arguably the best place in Charlotte, NC to play Pokemon Go
