Located on the 6th street in the downtown area of Charlottesville, Champion Brewing Company is a small brewery quite popular among folks. For travellers though, it might be quite hard to find but rest assured, the place is worth visiting. Here, you will find a good selection of beer, brewed well with nice techniques and quality raw products. A much recommended one is its sour beer called Tart but if you want something light there are plenty of options for that too. Walk in on a hot day and enjoy a nice time, sipping on your favourite drink and having a nice conversation. The owner is very knowledgeable and will provide you with different insights on beer. Call beforehand to avoid visiting on crowded days and days of events.

Champion Brewing Company Reviews & Ratings
Pretty good spot for some good beer. Not a ton of food options but looked good. The interior is smaller but still could fit a crowd. I really enjoyed a few of their IPAs.
Great food and beer. Love the Shower Beer
There's an awesome table outside with a 4' fire truck puzzle you can do. What more can you want out of a brewery?
Limited kitchen but they make the most of everything that comes out of it. Don’t miss the Missile Cheese Dip as an appetizer if looking for a lot of flavor and a taste snack. Beers are smooth and anything but subtle. Tends to favor the hoppy side of the spectrum. Need to bring back the Killer Kolsch!
This is a great local brewery in Charlottesville. We go specially during the spring and summer time. We seat outside and grab some food at the food truck, which is a different cousin style every day (Mexican, Thai, American, etc). They also have different beers to taste. This is a family-friendly environment. So you can go with kids in the open terrace.
