International Towing And Recovery Museum Reviews & Ratings
What a great place for kids and grownups to explore the world of towing!! We took our 2 year old grandson and he LOVED it! They have two vehicles for the kids to sit in ....1 tow truck in the gift shop area they can actually play with the lights and the Boom. They also have hard hats and safety vests for the kids to try on. Plus they have safety cones for the kids to play with. The gift shop is cute too and of course you can't leave without buying a tow truck LOL. Definitely recommend!👷🙌
This place truly is amazing. Not only is everything inside amazing, put the people who put this place together and make this place run. I had the honor and pleasure of visiting for Museum Weekend, and I was blown away. Everyone made me feel like family here. The museum has so many awesome tow trucks, and awesome artifacts to see. The walls are lined with years and years of museum inductees. So much knowledge in one place. You also have to take a moment to visit the Wall of the Fallen to pay your respects. The gift shop is not only just towing related, but has SO MANY COOL THINGS!!! And they are open Sundays! (Great for last minute gifts). I highly suggest checking this place out if you are a gearhead, love old vehicles, or love tow trucks! Also definately consider becoming a member and supporting the museum!
We became members of the International Towing Museum for the past 3.5 years but due to us being on the east coast of NC, had yet to visit, until this weekend. Wow! It’s still growing but they had so much! So many trucks of different sizes and styles along with old equipment and tons of vintage photographs. There is so much history here. Along with all that, they have a beautiful tribute out front for those that have lost their lives working the white line. We attended their wall of the fallen ceremony and it was so powerful. Thank you for all you!
Very nice place, Wall of the Fallen was so respectfully done. As well as the ceremony to add the name on the wall. Nice and helpful staff in gift shop and really neat museum to see.
Small but very nice. Has a cute gift shop area in the front for towing themed gifts and local Chattanooga items.
