The hidden gem of Chattanooga, the Lula Falls is the highlight of the Lula Lake Land Trust that works towards protecting and preserving the natural resources. The Lula Falls can be accessed by hiking along two trails – the difficult one is steep and will lead you to the base of the falls while the moderate trail is longer and starts after the difficult trail. Over six miles of trails encompass the area and offers running, hiking, and mountain biking. The upper waterfall and the small cascading streams forming the turquoise water of the Lula Lake looks magnificent. After descending a little through the rugged trail, you will see the lower Lula Falls gushing straight into the basin 100 feet below.
