Tra Su Cajuput Forest Reviews & Ratings
Tra su forest is changing. I have come there many times. They are building many constructions around. Anyway, it is still a nice place to visit rural Mekong. If you travel on September - December, that is the best time for you to explore. The floating season supplies more water & enrich the environment.
Took a long way to here from Châu Đốc city. You have to pay for the entrance ticket. Cost a little much, depending on how many people you have. BUT IT'S WORTH. IT'S AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL. THE BEST SERVICE. FRIENDLY STAFFS. PEACEFUL & WILD.
Rhis is a good half day trip that you can combine with Nui Sam. You get to go on a couple of boats and can climb the observation tower. There are places for snacks or full on meals if you need. We took a trip for 4 people with driver and guide for 2.2M. You could save some cash if you did it on your own or had less people but diners it was worth it. All in all a good place to visit. We also stopped at a small temple on the way which was another interesting stop.
Great place for family. The tickets get cheaper with more people in group. The food is delicious and reasonable. The staffs are very friendly and nice and willing to server you even when it rain.
You will then immerse yourselves in the wonderful nature of Tra Su forest with green duckweed on the water’s surface. Firstly, we take the local speedy boat cruising along small channels then move to row sampan boat peacefully weaving in the middle of the forest. What a fantastic feeling! From a high tower overlooking the forest, you can easily observe daily activities of beautiful creature here.
