Cineworld Cinema - Cheltenham Reviews & Ratings
Used the Screening Rooms for the first time to see Glass (excellent film btw!). Expensive but comfortable large seats with the ability to have drinks and food brought to you before the film started. The room we were in was a tad on the cold side - to the extent that my friend had to cover her legs with my coat. Otherwise nice way to see a movie. Would have been 5Stars if the temperature had have been better.
It's an good cinema what more is there to say? New seats too which are comfy.
Fab visit. Dumbo a great feel good film. Suitable for all the family
We went with our 15 year old daughter to watch a 15 rated film, Glass, but were prevented from going in as the member of staff on the entrance challenged our daughter's age. As we hadn't taken photo ID out with us we were unable to prove that she was old enough to view the film. We were unaware that this would be an issue as we had previously viewed many 15 rated films at both Cheltenham and Gloucester Cineworld cinema's. The issue is apparently due to staff being required to check ages on student tickets where individuals appear young. The manager explained that they are able to accept images of, or actual, photo ID to evidence ages for young people aged 15-18 years old who do not have student ID cards. We did eventually find a copy of our daughter's photo ID and were eventually allowed entry just before the film started.
Clean and tidy. Food is expensive but that's the same at any cinema. Not enough waiting area seats. Downstairs is under utilised and you could do something in that area. Some sort of entertainment or extra waiting area. The actual screens and seats are nice though with great sound quality.
