Schlosskirche is a castle church and an historic site in the town of Chemnitz in Germany. The church was founded by the former Benedictine monastery and was, in its initial days, founded as the St. Mary's Church. The church was renamed as "castle church" after the reformation and the conversion of the monastery in 1668. The Mary is central figure of this church and is seen at the main altar, as the central figure in the north portal, and in the form of the mourning Maria.
