  • Refreshing. Words can't explain what I felt on Sunday morning. No car zone makes it noise less. Truely Motivating when you see 100"s of men & women running, jogging, & brisk walking. Age no bar gender no bar. To add to this list of all goodness Sunrise view is still in my memory as fresh as it can

  • Basant Nagar beach one of the beautiful Beach in Chennai. It is not too crowded like Marina Beach. So we can and sit in the banks with a peaceful mind. Also there is not much selling people and no bad odors. There is church in the street, so the road is little bit rush. But Sundays and some other holidays are little crowded.

  • Nice to spend time, usually I will go in weekends morning. Less crowd full fun. So activities will be conducted beside beach. We should go in mornings, really one can enjoy. One More thing, there we will get bicycles for cycling...

  • In coastal cities like Chennai, beaches serve as public spaces accessible to all. Observing recreational and professional activities on the beach can be an activity by itself! Such is the diversity. And yes, the beach can be much cleaner.

  • Best time to visit is at dawn to watch the sunrise. Little bit crowed on weekends.. It is much cleaner than marina beach. Games to play around. Food is ok.
