Chetpet Ecopark, Chennai Reviews

  • Great place to go relax. Play area, boating, Angling, walking/ jogging, food court and a whole lot of greenery. Perfect place to spend the evening away from the urban mundane. Ample two and four wheeler parking. At just 25₹ a day its a value for money. A pleasant surprise that its a government run facility and maintained well. It has become a must do place for my family.

  • Beautiful built Park with boating, fishing, walking and kids play area. They also have a canteen with basic munchies like puff, muffins and tea coffee, cotton candy, pop corn. They have 3 washrooms maintained well. Security all around the place. It would maintain its beauty if visitors followed the rules.

  • Park is clean. It's nice to have a lake inside city and it's is good that they are cautious about boat rides not allowing anybody on their own even if it's just a single couple. But the steps to enter the boating area looks scary and not safe. Kids and elders needs to be very careful on those steps. Boat ride is Rs 50 per head Park entry fee is Rs 25 per head. Boat riding close by 6:15 PM.

  • I heard a lot about Eco Park from many peoples, first time today I happen to visit deliberately. I forced to park my vehicle in parking lot so it happened, but of course this visit was very awesome. the way it is developed I think first time in Chennai such a beautiful place I feel once you must visit so that it will tempting you to come here again and again rest you please come and see.

  • Chetpet Ecopark is one of the best places for walking and jogging in Chennai. The place is clean, beautifully landscaped around a very large water body which is maintained well. There are areas where anglers spend time trying to catch a fish! The place is heavily guarded by security staff and it is safe for all to use. The only thing that worries me is the number of restaurants which are taking up space in the new building at the entrance to the park. I hope this does not spill in to the park and spoil the place for joggers and walkers.
