St Andrew's Church, Chennai Reviews
Probably one of the best architectural marvels amongst church buildings in the world. The grandeur and enormity of the structures especially the pillars, both outside and inside the church make you feel humble and gives you a perspective of the place that you hold with this life in this multiverse. Services are all in English and western styled. Unlike the recent churches that make church service an English rock show service at this church is calm and soul stirring. Many good old people to speak to and get volumes of knowledge. A must visit place for any person who is in search of himself or as a traveling stop.
Not worth a visit, I went there after going through the description provided by thrillophilia, however the church was located in a narrow street. I didn't go inside as it appeared like a primary school for kids. Thrillophilia, please make improvements in your suggestions!
One of the oldest church around India, it's specialized with Anglo. There's a historic pillars behind the church which has a big story..
A prominent church in the city that belongs to the CSI denomination. It is a very peaceful place to sit and contemplate.
If you can't afford to go to St.Martin in fields in London you can come and see the grand Roman architecture here. Modification as circular structure adds grandeur. Community centre offering tailoring course open to all is also here.
