Musee Memorial De Bloody Gulch is a unique archeological memorial in Normandy dedicated to the famous Battle of Bloody Gulch. The Battle took place in June 1944 between elements of German 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division - 6th Fallschimjager Regiment, and the American Paratroopers, reinforced by the U.S. 2nd Armored division. More than 12 tons of material was found on the site, post the battle. On a visit to the memorial, one can see the interiors of the mansion that retains traces of its floor fighting from the battle. The site also offers the public two themed-guidedtours: the Battle of Bloody Gulch and the history of the manor since the Middle Ages.Highlights and must sees include:
