Saline beach spans with about 3 km of coastline, around 600 meters north of the city. A popular work hub of local fishermen on foot, thanks to the numerous rocks sheltering all kinds of shellfish. An area of five hectares was constructed to improve the tourist reception efforts at the beach. Families frequently visit the beach, even though swimming remains prohibited here, development of recreational practices has happened with the new playground for children coming into existence. A refreshment bar-café is also there inside one of the old military forts near the playground. The visitor can reach the site by the cycling path. Highlights and must sees include:
