The Cornwall Furnace near the Cedar Bluff, Alabama in Cherokee County is a furnace that was built by the Noble Brothers in order to supply iron products to the Confederate States of America during the period of American Civil War. The furnace is built is in a pyramidal shape and is 30 feet square at the base, 15 feet square at the top, and 45 feet tall. This site was registered as the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 and since then has become one of the top attractions near Cherokee, Alabama.
