Rainforest Boutique Hotel, Chiang Mai Reviews
We had a nice room in the older part of the hotel with a nice little library style working place in front. We enjoyed sitting there. Our room had a seperated glass roofed extra large concrete bathtub. Firstly we've been offered a room in the back wing with a balcony to the second pool area. The door didn't close well and too many kids screamed and played in the pool. So we complained immediately and they offered us a much better room in the older part of the hotel. The breakfast was acceptable. Some parents seem not to be able to educate their kids in a way not to annoy other guests. But we were really happy with our room, so that couldn't stop us from enjoying our stay and exploring Chiang Mai. Affordable place with acceptable quality.
Very helpful staff, great restaurant (reasonably priced)and access to 2 swimming pools. Location is great too, very easy to navigate away from the hotel, a short ride away from city centre there is always transport available. Only downfall for me was the stairs and it is a bit of a maze to get around. Other than that, enjoyed my time at Rainforest and its tranquil surroundings.
This should really have 5 stars. It's true the location is a little out of the way, but it's so easy to get around and the accommodations in general are just superb given the pricing. It's been 3 months and I'm still thinking about the excellent breakfast buffet. It's a perfect spot.
One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s an older hotel and some might find it a bit dated with some maintenance problems or whatever, but the staff was amazing and it made our stay very memorable. Thanks.
We came here on the first part of our honeymoon. Booked for three nights and stayed for four as we fell in love with the place. All staff were pleasant and most helpful. The service we received was exceptional.. Faultless.. The laundry service was quick and smelt divine when returned and also very cheap..free shuttle service to the nightly street market highly recommended, however the Sunday night market is not for the faint hearted as very crowded. We will be back next year.
