  • We had an absolutely incredible time, so much fun and such delicious tastes! Our instructor Cherry was hilarious, with great banter and cheerful smiles. We got to choose from heaps of great dishes and could season each to our taste - though we were advised to follow true Thai style of course. Overall well presented, well run, and well worth it. Highly recommended - and come hungry!

  • Kop Kun Kap to JJ and the team at Thai Akha School! It was an amazing experience learning how to cook 11 different Thai Dishes, equally with an amazing group to enjoy the experience with. The class was easy to book through their official website, and you can pay either online or in Cash after the class. Our teacher JJ was incredible and made all of us in the class feel welcomed! He had great knowledge of every dish and was very funny. At the end you get to eat your final meals with your fellow cooks and receive a cookbook with all the dishes from the class and also a Thai Curry pack. The cost of the evening class was 900 Baht and was definitely worth it! Ensure to experience a lesson if you are visiting Chiang Mai:). Incredible experience!

  • Booked this last minute and heard right away that our booking was confirmed. Our instructor was Niti, who is from the Akha tribe. She was very knowledgeable on not only the food/cooking, but also on Thai/Akha history. Had so much fun and got a recipe book and spices to take home. Definitely recommend!!
