Chiba Marine Stadium, Chiba Reviews
A nice stadium to see a game but unfortunately they didn't take advantage of the beautiful location right on Tokyo Harbor so you can't see sunsets or even sense where you are. Lots of good food available inside and out in food trucks before the game. Not enough parking and poorly designed so there is only one exit and entrance. Lots of people walk over from the train and bus stations though. Fun crowd though. Usually a nice cool breeze in the evenings.
Cool place for concert and other events! :)
Japanese baseball!!! Check out the Chiba Lotte Marines at their home stadium. Night games are best for beating the heat as they tend to get a (relatively) cool breeze coming in off Tokyo Bay. The beer and food aren't cheap, but are fairly decent. You can bring in drinks (non-alcoholic) and food from your kitchen or the stalls located outside of the stadium to mitigate expenses. There are usually some fireworks (yes, real ones) during the game, which are a pretty nice addition, and of course the unique atmosphere of Japanese baseball is always a kick. Get tickets on the right side of the stadium if you want to support the home team. And if you do, be sure to make lots of noise every time they score a run, as it is guaranteed to make you popular with the locals. Who knows? You may even get some free food if you put enough effort into it.
Awesome for watching the Chiba Lotte Marines play baseball. The fans are great and never out of control. Not as cheap to go as other countries but worth the effort. Everyone is friendly. Stadium is getting a little old but does the job. New scoreboards for the 2016 season
