McCormick Bird Sanctuary is a migrating bird habitat built in 2003. Spread across a land of 6 acres, the sanctuary is located in front of the beautiful Lake Michigan. It provides food, shelter, and a rest stop to numerous migrating birds along the banks of the Lake. The sanctuary also has a lovely prairie which is engulfed in velvet greenery and pretty wildflowers. Being located alongside Lake Michigan, it is a scenic site to spend some quality time amidst nature. Visit it during the bird migration season to see a variety of birds.
