Alinea, Chicago Reviews

  • Best meal I've ever had in my life! Chef Grant and his amazing team have put so much detail and thought in every single thing from the decor, to the aromas in the room, the way things are plated, to the tastes and textures of every dish. Everything and everyone is an important instrument that comes together to make the most perfect symphony. I was in awe from beginning to end and would never trade this experience of a lifetime for anything in the world. Chef Grant is a true artist and master of his craft. Completely amazing and hats off to the chef and staff!

  • I honestly can't say enough nice things. We got engaged at Alinea and the whole staff, chefs, and literally everyone was top notch amazing. It was an experience that I'll always remember. They are so accommodating. They are wonderful, meticulous, well planned, and well run. Alinea is just such an experience in so many different ways. We all enjoy different things. All I can say is, if you're interested and can go, go, don't hesitate.

  • As amazing as they say it is. Since there are already so many excellent reviews, I will just give a few pointers. First, wear something nice, but comfortable. You will be eating for 3+ hours and you don't want to fuss with your dress the whole time. Second, if you are doing with the price, think of it as a unique experience like hot air ballooning or sky diving. Third, of you pick the more expensive option, you are eating as a large group (16 people) the "economy" option you eat at your own table and pace. If you show up late to the large group one they will start without you. We ate the "economy" option and honestly I don't think I could have finished another bite and I certainly didn't leave wishing I had sprang for more.

  • Best experience in any restaurant I have ever been! It is not your typical old fashioned restaurant. This will blow your mind. You will start appreciating culinary arts more after spending an evening here for dinner. For me, the balloon was the best. It literally changes your voice for few seconds. Presentations for all the courses were great. Recommend everyone to visit when u are ready to spend ~$300 per person for dinner. It is pricey because you dont go there to fill you stomach. You go there to get your mind blown.

  • 50🌟🌟🌟 if possible I would give it!!!!! This is by far the best all five senses and life experience one may ever have with food and a dink g experience!! We visited Chicago specially to attend one of the 18 course meals wot pairings. NICOLE was the best ever. Most may equate her to a waitress or hostess, but I consider her to be the adhesive of the glue that holds this entire experience together!!! The food is a literal creative genius placed in varied dishes, which all are part of the tying in the other senses the the experience... This is worth every single penny one may spend and the chef and his entire staff are literal food geniuses....
