This theatre never disappoints me. The leg room and size of the seats is a little better than other theatres. The seats were comfy. I wish they had more concessions open so that we didn't have to wait in lines but it wasn't horrible. The staff was all extremely nice and helpful. Prices are crazy, but that's to be expected.
First time at the Chicago Theater and I am impressed and satisfied with the facility. My 4 year old son and I were there for the Paw patrol live show. Parking was easy which was a minute walk to the theater. Bags were checked before entering the building for security purposes which I like. Easy navigation in the theater and easy finding seats which was great. And the seats were comfortable.
The Chicago Theater is an iconic and well established venue. This is one of the best places to enjoy a concert. The acoustics are impeccable. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Walking in the front door is akin to stepping back in time. Cannot recommend this place enough.
It is an older style building with handmade fixtures from a guilded era. The paintings we're classy. The bathrooms we're small, but clean and evenly spaced throughout all levels to reduce congestion. There were plenty of ushers and aids to assist with seating, pictures, and questions. The performance hall itself was spacious, yet intimate. You could easily see and hear the performers from the front rows to the back of the balcony, better than some other theatres I have been to. The great performance and sound quality were helpful as well. The ceiling could use some restoration, and I hope they do that because the artwork is beautiful.
I love this venue. It's a smaller venue which makes it more personal. The architecture is awesome. All around a great place to see a show. I have been there a couple times never had a bad seat.
