I had a nice buzz after leaving a Macallan tasting in West Loop and then a party @ Mr Brown's Lounge across the street from this joint. I was definitely craving a burger so this was perfect! This place is basically a small greasy spoon that has an outdoor seating area which is good for those warm nights. I walked in and the grill was going as there were a few people inside. The smell was definitely singing to my nose as I ordered a single fatso burger with everything on it. I got it to go as I ready to head home so I enjoyed my delicious burger while walking to the blue line. Burger was cooked and seasoned to perfection...I will definitely come back here.
I really love this place. Always juicy tasty burgers, simple but nice yard, convenient free parking. But prices are rising and quality is decreasing. Yeah, life is hard. Prices always go up. It's ok, nothing to do with it - we need pay more taxes because greedy, corrupted windy city politicians need money, more and more... But, why Fatso's quality slips?
Over priced food. French fries too greasy. Hot dogs at a gas station are much bigger. My peach tea tasted great. However, service was quick & very pleasant. Also, they have customer parking & outside sitting area which is a plus.
Stopped here yesterday to have our lunch because I have seen this store a couple of times.. My family and I felt in love with their food. They had a really good service..
Fried shrimp are delicious as are the char dogs. Do not order the veggie dog as it's deep fried and not very good so it's not healthy nor tasty. Pass... Fries are fresh cut so you end up with little crunchy pieces at the bottom of the pile but they are a great way to finish the meal.
