  • Party of 6 visited @ 5 pm on a Friday night. Wasn't too busy, service starts good, but then declined. Drinks took 15 minutes to get, asked for a to go box 4 times, finally grabbing it ourselves. Finally had to wait 20 minutes for our checks, tow of which we had to ask for... could of just walked out. So frustrating, these are basic service skills. At the end, after running my card with gratuity already added, our waitress told there was a pen at my table to sign receipt. I was at the cashier area already as I couldn't wait at my table any longer. Went back to my table, found my own pen, since she didn't have one to provide, signed it, left a ' lovely note' and left. Ironically, our waitress told us at the beginning she was not one of those dumb servers... Currently up for debatešŸ¤”.

  • We have come to this place a few times. Previous trips were fun and enjoyable. My family usually had a good time. This visit was destined to be the last. We took a trip on a Wednesday night. We were seated outside and had less than a 15 minute wait. We had our drinks and food ordered at the same time. We waited 20+ minutes for our drinks to come out. The first thing that did come out was our food. We sent the food back and told the server we were leaving. When we asked the hostess to speak to a manager we saw our drinks come out and told our waitress we were leaving. We still asked us for a manager and the hostess proceed to tell us she didn't care about our issues and that she just "sat the people". Tom the manager came out and asked us what was going on, gave him a run down of what was going on. He said he was piecing the stories together from both the bartender and our waitress but said what happened was unacceptable. He was very apologetic and took care of a few things for us. Needless to say what I thought was going to be the last trip to the Margaritaville at Navy Pier may not be the last.

  • First and last time dining here. We were sat at the bar because there were no tables, not sure how that was possible because the outside seating area and the inside area was almost empty. Fine, not a big deal. But this is where we began to have problems. The bartender, Megan, approached us only once and that was to take our drink order and food order. We were never given silverware, napkins, or water. She finally offered it when we're almost done with our food. We asked for our check and left. Two stars for the food because it was actually pretty good, but the service definitely doesn't deserve one.

  • The worst service I ever had a in a restaurant. First, we had to wait 15 minutes for the host, because she was cleaning the tables instead of hosting us. She saw us and another family waiting, but she did not care! After that, we sat and ordered, and after AN HOUR we still did not have our food! We ordered a burger and nachos, when asked about it, the waitress said the burger takes time! Which I found really offending, I don't like to be lied to, it is just a burger and everybody knows it doesn't take an hour to be ready! Then the manager came and apologized and said our food was taken to another table by mistake and that's why it took long! Which I think was another lie! Because when they brought our food at last the burger was completely cold, so it seems it was just left on the counter and our waitress has forgotten to bring it! The manager gave us a 7 dollar discount for the mistake, which was a nice gesture, but couldn't give us back our time. We had just 3-4 hours to sight-see Chicago, and we lost almost two hours in this restaurant! Worst service ever!

  • For a place located in the wonderful navy pier which is one of the main attractions of Chicago. Super overprice food. We had the burger and shrimp after 20 minutes of waiting. The bugger Patty was a frozen Sysco brand Patty not that special for $12 and the $13 shrimp were over cooked. The place had dirty walls and ALL the lamps were filled with spider webs. Never going back there.
