This popular ice skating rink in Chicago opens to the public every year through the winter months, generally from November to March. The rink is flocked by over 100,00 skaters each year, and has been the same since the last 14 years. Operated by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Chicago, there are also free skating lessons organised during the weekends before the rink opens, so it’s a great way for beginners to enjoy ice skating. The cafe inside the park provides some delicious hot chocolate that will keep you warm in the cold weather.
