  • Went after work, no crowds. Sliced brisket on a bun, potato salad, slaw, butterscotch root beer. The brisket is wonderful, skip the bun it just covers the flavor. Try the meat without sauce first. The sauces compliment but are unnecessary, the meat is that tasty. Slaw and pot. salad are above average. Service is fast and cheerful. Well priced.

  • Love the sauce... Kinda addicted to it... Although I wished they focused a bit more on presentation... That would be good

  • I used to like going here during my lunch break for the pulled brisket sandwich... until I saw one of the employees splashing the glass partition with his saliva while cutting the meat.

  • saw it on the food network and I had to go when I was there in Chicago did not disappoint corn bread was awesome and the brisket taste just like my dads when we bbq in the summer. also i loved the people there, they where so friendly

  • I have seen Smoque on a few shows on the food network over the last few years and was excited to hear about the location in the revival food hall in the loop. It was my first stop on my trip to Chicago and the BBQ did not disappoint. I have traveled far and wide in search of perfect BBQ and I found it in the chopped beef brisket sandwich.
