  • The service didn't speak English. We asked several times for water... There was 5 of us and they brought our main dishes out one at a time. By the time all the dishes were served the 1st one was cold... My girls... The food had allot of flavor... Their spices were very unique.. I would say more authentic than your neighborhood Chinese restaurant.. But you may want to polish up on your Chinese..

  • The food was good. Cant say it wasn't, that would be a lie. I Wasn't happy that our orders came out one at a time. We had 5 people. Had to ask for napkins, water a few times. Never came to ask us if we needed anything or if food was good. Had to wave them over to come help. Over all food was good.

  • Their food is awesome! Egg drop soup I have never seen in such big bowl and very tasty. Very good size Chuan. One of the best in Chicago. I wish the server quality is much better. Other than that food is great!

  • Early dinner at Sze Chuan restaurant. Clean venue with nice cozy decoration. We order three dishes. They were delicious, even though two of them were spicy (ribs and mapo tofu) they were not too hot. The ribs were crispy and crunchy, with lots of flavors that makes you wonder. Many layers of flavors that create a wonderful experience. highly recommendes if you like spicy food. the service was okay, they can improve being a little bit more welcoming.

  • The food is not bad. The servers are inexperienced and entitled. I didn't expect good service from small restaurants in Chinatown but this place went below my expectation. They shocked me by charging us 18% service fee for a group of 4 which is not normal in any restaurant I've been to. When asked why, the host said we were sitting at a round table. I asked him if it's written anywhere on the menu or have a sign that mentions this rule and the host just shrugged and looked at us blindly waiting for us to just leave him alone. I normally give about 20% so I've saved 2% but it just doesn't sit well with me.
