Taste Of Chicago Reviews & Ratings

  • Simply Amazing. We had a party of 7 for my boyfriend's dinner and had a private room. The food was top notch and the service was incredible. Each person in the party tried something different from the menu and everyone really enjoyed their dish. The staff goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable. We will be back for sure!

  • Probably one of the best restaurants in the city. I cannot recommend it enough. Farm to table, with a greenhouse on site, reasonably priced... And DELICIOUS! the staff were all friendly and knowledgeable about the ingredients and cooking techniques. The inside decor is chic and hip. There is an outdoor patio enclosed with plank walls and pergola top. I gave myself a tour of the greenhouse, which I think was OK. It was so cool with everything that is growing with a labeled sign. I can't give enough stars.

  • Eden is hands down one of the best restaurants in the city. Michelin Star-worthy at a price point that is more than fair for the quality of the food. Much of the produce is grown in an on-premise greenhouse, which comes through in the freshness of the meal. An extensive wine list and thoughtful cocktails add to the experience. The bread is baked in-house and the baker also makes the dessert—a perfect finish. We visited with a larger sized group which allowed us to try 75% of the menu. Hard to believe but I loved EVERYTHING. The interior is white and bright and airy. It’s not too stark, though, as the vibe is cozy. You could picture yourself becoming a regular should you live in the neighborhood.

  • Pricey, but oh-so-good. The chef clearly takes care in designing each dish and selecting the best ingredients. The gnocchi was the best I've ever had.

  • Best date night ever! Everything here is top notch and it’s a beautiful gem in West Town. The food is well priced, well portioned, and delicious. Absolutely loved the pork belly starter (very filling and unique), grace note cocktail, and enjoyed the whole fish. The ice cream trio had wonderful flavors too! All of the herbs and plants in the dishes are grown in the greenhouse next to the restaurant and the flowers in the food are edible. There is plenty of free street parking and space in their parking lot - huge perk!
