The Scout Waterhouse Kitchen Reviews & Ratings
Cool bar if you're into drinking at a Chicago Bears bar that hates Chicago fans. Weirdest thing ever to see the host wear a Patriots Jersey then a Saints Jersey in the same game against the Saints. Not a fan of a place that supports opposing teams IN CHICAGO! Go to the Weather Mark Tavern down the street! Way better bar for true fans! Visit Mallory there, she's the best!
Walked into The Scout on 10/06, at about 10:30 a.m., and the restaurant was very well-attended with a high energy atmosphere. Servers and bussers behind the bar and in the restaurant table area were working fast, efficiently, and attentively! The back bar was to open at 11:00 a.m., and it did so, promptly. That bar server, Kristen, deserves special mention. She was prompt, quick, attentive, and friendly. The Scout is ‘doing it right’, and it deserves a very positive endorsement.
We love the Scout! This place seems to get better every time we go. We dig the environment, the customer service, selection is great. The food is always hot and delicious! We will be returning, again & again!
Decent food, drink selection is also good. Was here for a 30th birthday and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. The manager even let us set up in a small private room and didn't charge anything for it's use (although he did remind us that he wasn't charging a couple times, which is tacky). All in all a very nice establishment to visit.
Awesome place. I ordered the salmon entree and tuna tartare appetizer; both were tremendous. Drink selection is great as well. Nice ambience, with outdoor seating (love the flowers on the rail, nice touch) and also lots of TVs inside. It was a cool experience being here during the Women’s World Cup. Owner and staff were kind and welcoming. Great spot!
