Chittorgarh Fort - Review
For the tourists who are not aware of the history of Chittorgarh, this fort might come across as just beautifully preserved ruins. However, the ones who are aware would know that this is one of the sites that have defined the Rajputana pride and valour in India. The city as well as the fort are so well woven in the history of Rajasthan that there have been many tales and ballads that testify their glory. Chittorgarh Fort is an expansive fort built on the hilltop and is one of the most beautiful forts in India. Covering an area of 700 acres, this fort is actually a complex that houses many other royal structures and temples inside such as Kumbha Palace, Sringar Chauri, Fateh Prakash Palace, Kirti stambha and many others. Connecting all these points within the fort is the serpentine road which is quite steep and exhaustive to walk. In order to enter this fort, you will have to cross through seven huge gateways or 'pols', guarded by watch tower and massive iron spiked doors.

A must visit Fort.. One of the Largest forts in India... Although it's nothing much to see more than 4-5 hours... Great photography places... Lots of ancient stories attached to it.. So with a guide it will be more interesting to visit... Weather is generally hot so best to visit in monsoon season or in winters...

A great place to visit. The place is huge and beautiful with artifacts from past. The guides are good but try to negotiate the right price with them. The place has beautiful designs on walls and is beautiful all around. An architectural marvel and a must visit place if you are visiting Rajasthan. You'll definitely enjoy the place.
This just a fort which has turned in Ruins now. The this which has been left is the memories of past. The Ruins reminds us the history,What really had happened to Chittorgarh that time. If u love to visit old forts and sculptures. You will love this place. Rather nothing will please u at this place. But yes the view of whole city from the top of mountain is mesmerizing .u will fall in love with fat view. Another thing which is exciting is the Kund for me.. If u love to bath in cold water ..then u will enjoy here a lot.
