About Padmini Palace, Chittorgarh
Located inside the premises of Chittorgarh Palace, the Padmini’s Palace is perhaps the most famous and most visited site. Considered to be the residence of Queen Padmini, this palace exhibits beautiful architecture and splendour. According to the local beliefs, this is the same palace where Sultan Alauddin Khilji view the reflection of the beautiful Rani Padmini in a mirror located in the main hall of palace. He was so much taken aback by her beauty that he decided to conquer Chittorgarh as a result. Due to this conquer, Rani Padmini decided to opt for jauhar, an act in which the royal women chose to immolate themselves rather than becoming the victims of outsider men.

Padmini Palace, Chittorgarh Reviews
Good ambiance. Food is also nice. A bit pricey. Recommend for family or quite romantic dinner / lunch.
Hotel is really very good. Staffs are very friendly and the best thing was food. Awwwwsmmm food. If you ever visit this place, must try their food..everything they prepare are awsm.
Very nice hotel very rich taste very good service nice area
One of the best places in Udaipur if you want to have local food. Neat and clean place with a fairly good local taste. Staff is decent and so is the service. Rajasthani thali is one of the good options available.
This review is for the restaurant, which is the hotel amenity - a bad taste in the food served. The staff is ignorant, and will not listen to your order properly. The food served here was nothing more than a bowl of raw spices. The traditional north indian dishes were a disaster. We tried the rajasthani cuisine, hoping for a good meal, but no luck. Majorly the food was not cooked, and the serving portions were also low. There is nothing to write about the ambiance. Not sure about the accommodation they provide, but the food served was surely bad!
