Housed inside the Chittorgarh Fort, the Vijay Stambha (translated as Victory Tower) stands as a testimony to the victory of Maharana Khumba over the intruder Mohammed Khilji. Built in 1440 AD, this tower is a huge structure
with 9 floors in 37 metres height. On the façade of this tower, you will be able to see inscriptions of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. The epic stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata have also been carved to adorn the walls of this tower. In order to reach the top of this structure, you will have to climb atleast 157 narrow stairs.
