Close to the Ciqikou porcelain town is this area of beauty and magnificence. The Jindao Canyons are grand and gorgeous with intriguing sights. The rock and water elements have come together at this place to form the most wonderful caves and pathways.

The Jindao Canyon is divided broadly into the upper canyon and the lower canyon. With a height of 100 metres, the upper canyons are solid and strong. However the lower canyons have been much affected by water erosion which has given birth to mystifying caves decorated with stalactites and stalagmites. The scenic area has quite a few attractions –

• The 7 kilometre longest plank road of China
• The Hiding Dagger Cave
• The Eagle Gorge
• The Xuantian Waterfalls
• The Happy Buddha at the centre of the lower canyon

The canyons are especially beautiful during the spring when the crystal clear water sparkles and the canyons look rich and renewed.
