  • OK, first off you should be aware that this is really a backpackers hostel type of hotel so read my review with that in mind. Room rates are really good for a hotel this close to the airport (you can walk to/from the terminal in about 10 minutes). You have a choice of Japanese style sleeping pods or rooms with real beds. As I was on business, I chose the room option so I will concentrate on that. The room was small, but clean and the climate controls worked great; the bed was really comfortable and I had lots of hot water for my shower, unlike others who have written here. There isn't a lot of soundproofing so you hear water running all the time and I'd be willing to bet if the people next door decided to have a shag in the evening you'd hear that too. I love the common area - it is bright and there are lots of options for relaxing with your phone/computer/book/whatever. The kitchen area is well appointed with cooking tools, glassware, plates and cutlery and there is a grocery store in the small mall next to the hotel where you can pick up food and alcohol for a nice meal. Overall, I would recommend this as a place to stay.

  • A good handy place to stay right at the airport - the pods might not suit everyone but you can lounge about in the common room or get a unit/room. A high volume turnover here, everything is high tech, easy unlimited internet, and clean, it’s a smart machine here - great for young travelers and anybody stuck at the airport too. Ask the staff how it works here - they’re cosmopolitan and friendly, 24-hour everything. It’s like the McDonald’s of hostels - fast turnover, smiley staff and clean, a slick machine.

  • I love this hostel. The pods are great and offer a lot of privacy as well as being individually kitted out with air-conditioning for those hot nights. Larger storage lockers are available under the pods and are large enough to fit big backpacks. The kitchen and lounge area is very large and I feel it promotes social activities.

  • It's a good place if you arrive in airport late. Less than 10 minutes slow walk from airport. Room is decent, there's a sharing kitchen and a fridge

  • Close to the airport. Very nice rooms, common area, shower &toilets. Quite cheap, Would definitely recommend. Rooms offering private "pods" with roll down curtains that offer light, fan and power, both 230V and usb and a mirror for a price of around 40Nzd. Did not get the lockers on the room to work, but all in all very happy
