Used the BBQ facility with friends. it's a Hidden Gem because it is very difficult to find a place to host a barbecue party in the middle of Tokyo. The rooftop BBQ area can accommodate almost a dozen people and they will prepare the food and silverware for the barbecue. therefore you do not need to bring any items except for drinks and beverages that you would like to consume at the barbecue. Price at approximately 4500 Japanese Yen it is affordable way to host a party in the middle of Tokyo.
Great location, within easy walking distance of train stations on 3 different lines. Also fairly easy to walk to Akihabara. Well-secured, with multiple passcodes and individual lockers you set the code for. Fantastic staff; I bought a SIM card from them that didn't work, and they spent several hours with me trying to fix it (including swapping out the one I bought for other SIM cards from their stash) before we finally gave up and they refunded me completely. The staff are also quite sociable, and more than willing to give travel advice. If I ever come back to Tokyo, I'll probably stay here again.
I am not gonna write anything surprisingly new about the facilities since other guests already said it and it's at one point more or less all the same high quality in Japan. The rooms are divided into small cubes which are separated by walls, boards and curtains. It definitely feels comfortable but as usually you can expect some noises from other guests. Bathrooms are clean and functional and the shared kitchen has everything you need. Overall it's a small yet cosy hostel. Just wanna say something since I noticed it again the other day. Remember, travelling is all about exchanging with other people. Wherever you go, you are a guest and the experiences you will make depend on your openness, initiative and positivity. In some places, you have to go out and reach out for the happiness and in other places its right next to you from the first second. Thanks to Japan's values and the staff's kindness, IRORI offers you the perfect fundament to immersive yourself into Japan's fascinating culture. The staff feels like a big family with various interesting and hilarious characters. Take this opportunity and exchange as much as possible. They will appreciate it and it will benefit you a lot in many ways.
The staffs act like this is their home and their attitude isn't very professional. The bed room doesn't really have a proper AC and it's very uncomfortable in summer. There is also some kind of facility or machine that makes a loud noise next to 201/202 bunk so good luck if you get assigned there. some guests might find this local and friendly but I don't not really recommend to those who are visiting Tokyo for a short time.
-closed to station you can get to narita airport by non stop train via asakusa line. -Try Japanese breakfast (roast fish and tofu with rice). It’s OK. -Shower room is in different floor and you have to take elevator to it. -Money exchange machine inside.
