Footpath Monterosso Reviews & Ratings
This was a great walk... It was hot so make sure to take water with you. It was 7.50 per person. A few people tried to do this walk in flip flops, but where sent back at the entrance. I think this is a very good idea stopping people from going without decent shoes. The walk is a bit steep in places and there are a reasonable amount of stairs. This is not an easy walk but with a moderate level of fitness you should be ok. Some amazing scenery as you walk. I highly recommend walking at least one way feel free to take a boat or train back.
Very beautiful trials between the Cinque Terra villages. i would recommend it to everybody. It a few hour walk! Be sure that you wear good shoes and no flip flops. Tip! Wait 10 minutes after the train and the most tourists are gone and you have all the space in the world
Very nice trail but not as easy as advertised. Wear decent shoes, bring water and sunscreen! A lot of stairs bit very much worth the hike! If you like nice places and the see, you got to take this hike!
Really nice and quite easy trail. Don't rush, there is no need to. Take your time. Great views on the way and some surprises. Worst part is that as it is a touristic place, you will most probably stuck a few times in the crowd. If you want to avoid that wake up early. Of course trail is paid, advisor in the booth will help you to chose the best ticket for your trip.
The views are worth it. We came in May and it wasn't that busy, but I guess we were right before tourist season. We broke up the 5 city hike and this one seemed the most demanding? You'll definitely break a sweat but it's not as hard as some of the reviews. Grab a hiking day pass and you're set.
