Villa Kruger is a huge mansion built in 1874. The four-bedroom villa was built as a residence for Paul Kruger - the then President of South Africa. He lived in the mansion in seclusion and died here on July 14, 1904. The villa used to serve as a museum which gave everyone a taste of Paul Kruger’s life during his self-imposed exile. However, the museum is no longer run and has been turned into a boutique hotel. You can book a room here and enjoy living luxuriously in the huge mansion.
