Verde Canyon Railroad Reviews & Ratings

  • This is a great way to experience the high desert near Arizona's red rock country. The trip is leisurely, the staff helpful and very knowledgeable. The rail cars and observation platforms allow sightseeing in air-conditioned comfort or open air. The experience is well worth the money. A rare opportunity to see into the past.

  • This train ride is a must do I've lived in Arizona for 20 years and never knew they had this amazing train ride experience. August is first responder month so we are free. I think kids and young adults would learn a lot from this experience. We went first class and got free snacks and water. I give this train ride a A +++ Learn the history of Arizona I will post more pictures from my other camera. Highly recommended

  • Great train ride. The appetizers were tasty. Looking out at the wild country makes you realize how tough people had it here a hundred plus years ago. We are looking forward to taking the ride again.

  • A three hour or so trip through some beautiful scenery in restored passenger cars. They have some open air cars also for a better view. They have beer and wine and mixed drinks.

  • We enjoyed seeing the wilderness & ghost town & cave dwellings & hearing the history. Our seating was comfy (not fancy) & the snacks good. Our wait staff was excellent. We didn't see wildlife this trip.
