The Nectar Falls can be found right off the Alabama Route 160. A walk towards the Locust Fork will lead you to the bottom of the Locust Falls. The area also has three covered bridges namely: Swann, Horton’s Mills and Old Easley. The surrounding area also has a park named Palisades Park. The Nectar Falls are very scenic and serene.

Police will tow your vehicle for the slightest reason. Apparently according to the towing company they tow 8 to 10 vehicles a day! Please know there are plenty of other more beautiful places to visit in North Alabama where you don't have to worry about anything! Also the local police will not give you a ride to you vehicle if you ended up off trail and came out miles from your vehicle at dark🙄😤😠just a terrible town to visit!!!
Police tow 8 to 10 vehicles a day here just saying it's not worth visiting. There is nicer places to go
One of my favorite fishing spots on 160. Has a small area to safely park, but wear something you're comfortable hiking in. The walk isn't too far from where you park to the water, but you do have a steep hill to go down and possibly quite a few rocks to walk across. The trails aren't always the most defined, watch your step! Other than that, good luck!
Great day to be on the river, but we walked this spot. It was too cold to get anymore wet than we did.
Well she was dry but that didn't stop us from exploring the area. There used to be a a covered bridge but that no longer exists. Only the masonry piers where it once stood. It was cool getting to check those out up close because the water was so far down. We definitely need rain but it was cool getting to walk right you to em. Will definitely come back to see the falls running more.
