A popular museum, the Cobh Heritage Centre is not to be missed while in Cobh. This museum is a part of and is situated right next to the Cobh Railway Station. Their “Queenstown Experience” features a permanent exhibition of Irish history and life in Ireland through the 18th and 19th centuries through various periods like the Great Famine, the mass emigration, criminals being transported to Australia, and more. Apart from this, the museum also has an exhibition on the history of the RMS Titanic as the ship’s last port was Cobh before it sank. Also present nearby are restaurants, gift shops, and a dock for cruise ships.
