Sprawling over an area of around 625 acres, the Tradewind Park is one of Broward County’s most active and diverse parks. Walking trails, disc golf course, fishing lakes, athletic fields, and the world-famous butterfly fields are the most attractive features of the park apart from the horse stables, educational farm and miniature steam train rides. Horse camps and horse rides can be made possible with the pony rides through the equine trails. There are ten picnic shelters such as Atala Pavilion, Elfin shelter, Grandiosa and four tents such as Windmill 1, 2, 3, 4 on both sides of the park for those who want to spend time in the vicinity of nature. The tropical butterfly garden, insect museum, lorikeet encounter, barnyard animals, aviaries and botanical gardens are the most beautiful features.
